It took me a bit to figure out what the hell they were. I though it was just a big walking blob of fabric until my hubby said it was Jayne's hat. From Firefly! The hats were a big thing this year; a ton of people were wearing them This person was ingenius to make their costume the hat! My hat is off to them!
